It's been a long time since I went out on a "boys only" outing.
I haven't seen Aldric for like, since Sec 4 which is like 14 years ago.
The different looks of a 30 year old guy.
We actually known each other since we were Pri 1 and been on and off classmates for like 10 years. If not for FB, I would probably not have a chance to meet him here in Sydney.
He was on a business trip, so Jack and I caught up with him earlier at Mushashi in the city.
We shared a okonomiyaki.
Wagyu beef yakiniku. The garlic dip complemented the tender meat very well.
Salmon and avocado roll.
Sashimi. I wonder if they recycle the leaves when they clear up.
It was nice recollecting the memories of growing up, the crushes with young teachers, going to detention classes for being late, skipping recess time to play sports, enduring the stench of the boys toilet, army daze, uni days and working woes.
This is 16 years of catching up squeezed into a 1.5hrs dinner.
After dinner, we went to have dessert at Passion Flower. I reckon we are the only table with just guys. Kinda funny to share a big bowl of ice cream together, but we did worse things when we were in the boy school.
