We woke up early today as we basically knocked out last night was the Blue Mountains road trip.

This is different kind of shopping spree. Things here are priced about 50% cheaper than major stores and the atmosphere is electrifying.

Welcome to Paddy's Markets Flemington, where you'll not want to pay full price at Coles and Woolies anymore.

This is the first time that I came with Eliss, and she is enjoying it. She wants to come again next week with a trolley to buy more.

If you are coming on the weekends, I suggest you come between 1-1.30pm, just before they close at 2pm where the sellers slash the prices to unbelievably rock bottom.

How does a carton of strawberries (12 punnets) at $10 sounds to you? Or a carton of cherries at $6?

After knowing that you have a week to finish up all the fruits and vegetables in the bag, go for a last meal outside across the train tracks for some Vietnamese pho. There are plenty of shops to choose from and they are all pretty good.

Eliss had the traditional beef pho.

I had the spicy version with Vietnamese sausages and pig blood. Yum!
