I spent one of the most interesting weekend. Eliss's colleagues organised a swimming friendly and I was the photographer.
This little one is from South Africa and her name is Cassie. Isn't she cute?
More photos here.
Although it was not an Olympic size pool, you can feel the tension in the air as the swimmers get ready for the 100m sprint.
Everyone gave their all and it was all for good fun. Irwin was too fast on the extreme left.
There were no losers in the competition, so everyone got a medal.
The baby joint in the celebration with her daddy in the pool. When she first jump in, she was shivering from the cold water, but was soon enjoying herself.
After that, we went to have brunch at Pablo's, one of our favourite cafes when we lived at Mascot. My fave is their big brekky.
This time round, the standard was way below par. The portion shrank, and they ran out of eggs.
Halfway through my meal, they offered me another poached egg. Probably went down to Woolies to stock up.
In the evening, Eliss treated me to Ramen Kan. I reckon this place serves the best char siew ramen.
The strong pork based stock is to die for.
After a few mouthful into my dinner, I found a piece of plastic floating. It must have been from the some plastic packaging from the kitchen.
They changed for me after I complaint. Hopefully they didn't add more foreign substance to my new bowl.
Interestingly, my meals today has all been a bit of a problem.
The salmon salad and agedeshi tofu was fine. Thank God.
