We went to Centennial Park to rollerblade today. Did you know that the park was dedicated by Sir Henry Parkes as a public open space in 1888 and was the venue for the inauguration of Federation in 1901? Now you do.

Eliss in her Saloman blades. She was a very fast learner, and this was her second time in them as far as I can recall.

I took months just to be able to move forward.

Yue Yue was really good for a first timer. He could move the first time he wore them!

Irwin happy to glide around in this cool Spring evening.

Jacqueline trying very hard to convince us that she sucked at this.

Picking up momentum.

The need for speed.

Trying to balance on the 2 front wheels.

Braking to a stop.

After doing all the possible tricks I knew, I ended the sequence with a bang. Yeah, yeah...I fell.

And Jacqueline fell too when she saw me fell. She just suddenly lost balance. Or was I too heavy and shook the ground a little?

So malu (embarrassing).

Daisy bought a brand new stainless steel Leroy picnic box, and can't wait to show off her delectable goodies underneath the cover.

Yue Yue couldn't resist and knew on the spot that he had to run more rounds to burn off the extra calories.

After a tiring session, all the sore butts found comfort on the lush greens.

All chilling out from the gourmet food inside Daisy's picnic box.

The sunset saw an end to the beautiful outing at Centennial Park.

We all headed then down to Kingsford's Tea Inn to feed our insatiable appetite.

They were showing some Stephen Chow's movies on their plasma tv. It was hilarious, man. I really miss this guy.

Talking about food, NSW residents are being warned to prepare for further food price hikes with almost the entire state now in the grip of drought.

I wonder has anyone thought of importing from another country to meet the demand, so that the price will remain more stable?

I recalled Singapore also sourced eggs from other countries (ie Australia) when Malaysia was hit by bird flu.

Just wondering lar...
