Due to the daylight saving drama last Sunday, we missed out on the yum cha brunch.
This time round, we made sure we got to Strathfield and dined at the Chinese restaurant just underneath the multi storey car park.

I reckon the quality was pretty good, not a hint of Korean influence as I would expect from this suburb. Haha.

After that, we went to Leichardt to chill out, with the help of delicious gelato of course.
Both of us really like this Italian suburb, especially this part of it. The place just oozes so much charm.

Eliss ordered the strawberry flavoured one for me, while she had the peach & mango one.

A school band was having an outdoor performance at the Italian Forum, so we just relax to the beautiful jazz pieces.
This brought back a lot of memories for Eliss when she was the drum major of her high school military band.

After a short drive along Glebe Point Road, we reached the waters, with views of both the Anzac and Harbour Bridge.
Beautiful, isn't it?

The sun rays reflected over the waters just before setting. What a great way to end the day.
As it was getting dark, we left the place. On the way out, we saw 2 guys lugging their SLRs and tripods, possibly trying to capture the sunset shot.
So funny. You need the sun to still hang up there before you can photograph it disappearing into the horizon. And you do not need a tripod, lor.
My little Canon Ixus 60 did all the work on the shot above.

When we reached home, we finally understand why there is always bird shit on the car, and on the ground.

These 2 buggers have been roosting on the pipes every evening, and just drop their load whenever they please.
Why can't you guys go somewhere else, please? The car park has plenty of room, so just leave us alone.
Sheesh...
