This shop will be the first Apple Store in the southern hemisphere and is expected to stock the new 3G iPhone at launch.

I remembered going into the Apple Shop in San Fransisco when I had my incentive trip with Unilever, that place was massive! It's different from one of those little reseller shops you see all over the place. The architecture will definitely be a highlight.

Kudos to Alan Ng, owner of Huang Pu Jiang chicken rice stall at Block 82, Whampoa Drive for his marketing genius.

He first cut his prices from $2.50 a plate to $2, in a bid to draw more customers.

And just a month ago, he started giving away one bowl of shark’s fin soup for every plate of chicken rice, roasted pork rice or roasted duck rice bought.

Sure, the 1kg packet of shark’s fin, sets him back by $21 each day. He used to make about $2,000 a month before he cut prices, but now, now he makes only about $1,600 a month.

What did he get out of it? Free publicity on the local newspaper. Priceless.

So guys, if you want free shark's fin soup with $2 chicken rice, don't say Ernest never share good lobang, ya?
