Bondi Beach is always beautiful, isn't it? The weather was perfect for a day out like this.

It was not as crowded as expected, probably due to the Sound Relief concert at the nearby SCG.

Joseph invited us to celebrate his girlfriend's birthday.

Michelle having a go at the barbie.

Herb flavoured ribs.

BBQ wings in pineapple sauce.

Grilled corn is so good.

Chloe's favourite blackforest cake.

We had a great time getting to know each other a little bit better.

In the evening, we went to baby Matthew's month old celebration.

He is one of Eliss's colleague's kid.

The baby's grandma flew all the way from Singapore and prepared heaps of local delights, made us feel like we are back home.

Brightly red colored eggs are traditionally used to announce the newborn; an even number of eggs for a boy, and an odd number to announce a baby girl.

Chinese believe mothers are in a highly weakened state following birth and have traditionally been expected to rest indoors for one full month after giving birth.

Besides resting, they will eat this nutritious dish made with pork trotters, vinegar and ginger.

The baby fell asleep even with all the excitement around him.
